Terrace and the Lounge Chair by Guy Bardone
Born in 1927, Bardone quickly mastered printmaking and developed his own unique style that is best demonstrated in his revered landscape and still life color lithographs. This technically complex color lithograph in eight colors demonstrates a unique combination of the still life and seascape merged with the terraced south of France view. Bardone's printmaking is an excellent demonstration of the superior printmaking ability of French printers with the longest tradition of any nation in fine art stone lithography, making this work a significant entry level investment piece. Bardone continues to attract significant interest in the fine art print market and is one of the few French print masters with original signed prints readily available in both Europe and United States.
