Music by John Button
John Button was one of the early School of New York artists and poets that was well acquainted with Frank O'Hara. Unlike many of his fellow artists that embraced abstraction, Button persisted with realism in his art as we see in this superb lithograph.
Technical details: Sheet Number 12 of "In Memory Of My Feelings: A Selection of Poems by Frank O'Hara" published by the Museum of Modern Art in 1967. Single signed in the plate lithograph printed as loose 18 x 12 inch folded folio sheet on Mohawk Superfine Smooth paper. Number 142 of edition number of 2500. Comes with complete provenance including copy of colophon
