Chez Jane by Marisol
Born in Paris to Venezuelan parents and immigrating to the United States at age 11 following her mother's tragic death, Escobar Marisol showed early talent as an artist, training in Los Angeles and the School of Paris. Influenced by Pop Art in the 1960's, we see in this unique image her skill as a lithographer creating an exquisite and clever figurative image spanning both sides of the sheet.
