Image of the Buddha Preaching by Claes Oldenburg
Claes Oldenburg is often considered a part of the Pop Art movement, in many ways he defies classification with his out of the box approach to art using the everyday object. While he is less well known for printmaking than sculpture, we see in the O'Hara portfolio his detailed draftsmanship combined with his use of irony in subject matter that only Oldenburg can execute with success.
