Confetti by Toulouse-Lautrec
Toulouse-Lautrec was a major influencer in the graphic explosion of the 19th century. Known for his posters, fine art lithographs and painting, Lautrec's innovative aesthetic resonated with the spirit of his time and is admired to this day. This vibrant lithograph was printed for the English Confetti manufacturers J&E Bella. It is an excellent example of Lautrec's use of the speckled tusche wash that he would use extensively in his fine art lithographic portraits of Yvette Guilbert.
